Drink Safe! Check Your Bottle!

Have you guys ever heard about BPA or in a long term it been called BISPHENOL A? BPA always contains in tinned food and plastic water bottles. Facts : In September 2010, Canada became the first country to declare BPA a toxic substance. In the European Union and Canada, BPA use is banned in baby bottles. [Wikipedia]

Effects of BPA:
  1. Prostate cancer
  2. Breast cancer
  3. Type 2 Diabetis
  4. Obesity. etc
How to Avoid BPA:
To be certain that you are choosing a bottle that does not leach:

1. Check the recycling symbol at the bottom of your bottle.
2. If it is a #2 HDPE (high density polyethylene), or a #4 LDPE (low density polyethylene), or a #5 PP (polypropylene), your bottle is fine.

3. If it is #1, and it is only recommended for one time use. DO NOT REFILL IT.

4. If it is #7 recycling symbol, It may leach to BPA.
Recommended:

1. Use a reusable water bottle, and fill it with your own filtered water from home.

2. Stay vigilant and get rid of items that have no number posted and certainly get rid of old, questionable plastics; including those old plastic, kitchen utensils like mixing spoons and spatulas you have had forever. [www.prlog.org]

3. Toss out plastics with the numbers #1, #3, #6 and #7.

4. Find the bottle that stated: BPA FREE [trusted.md]
I just got myself one, for a safe bottle. It do stated BPA FREE. BUT why they do have to put the #1, #3, #6, and #7 under the bottle if they knew that nobody won't buy it. PLEASE PICK IT RIGHT GUYS!!!!
